From this week’s Byrne notice:
Some of you may have heard, but for those who did not, Levy, our concessionaire, is in the process of acquiring a license to sell alcohol at sporting events, beginning with basketball and gymnastics at Coleman Coliseum. Still a few weeks out before we're able to sell, if all goes as planned, so we will be sure to communicate exactly if and when we are a go for sales in the near future. Offerings would include both beer and wine at designated locations throughout the concourse. As for other venues and sports, we will evaluate how this initial phase in Coleman goes and go from there.

Even our AD needs a drink after watching the teams that utilize Coleman. Hahaha, just kidding. But seriously it's about time

If we are shooting worse than 30% from 3 at halftime can they start selling bourbon?

From the Tuscaloosa News
quote:
Only beer, wine and seltzers – no hard liquor – will be sold at Coleman Coliseum, and a representative for Levy Premium Foodservice said all employees and contractors involved with the sale of alcohol have undergone responsible vendor training.

I just want everyone to know, if you're discrete about it... nobody is really gonna hassle you for drinking at a swim meet. So come on out
