I'm still convinced they do a BCS poll and just add some small form of human input to shift things around

Seems like there is a benefit to both
The committee can see and evaluate an injury but BCS understands that H2h is a loss and factors the quality of the loss vs team A beat team B so team B can never be ahead of team A
