Hey dudwhole...I am right only about 10% of the time but I am below 5% at my house. Since you appear to wear the pants at your house I may need a conference call soon. Kapish?

Can't blame BB.

There are roughly 85 scholarship four and five star football players on the Bama roster.

Every one of them go into fall camp thinking "win a position."

There are 22 starting positions minus special teams etc..

According to a little simple math roughly 75% of the TEAM is comprised of guys that do not have a starting job.

Ok, so now according to your pussified, bitch arse opinion (insults inserted for comic relief, no harm intended) roughly 75% of the TEAM could not be "blamed" for transferring/quitting on their teammates after fall camp or mid season due to not being a starter ?

Ok... but hold on now... How many of those 85 scholarship players does it take to win a ballgame ?

Special teams ? Rotating the DL's ? Rotating the RB's ? Rotating the WR's ? Third down pass rush specialist ? 6th man on the OL that can step in after injury ? Etc., Etc., and maybe most importantly someday backup QB ?

Uh oh, now we're looking at the numbers a little differently, ah ? Yeah 75% percent of the TEAM does not have a starting job, but it takes 75% if not more of the TEAM to win a ballgame.

Have you ever played football ? Have you ever played any team sport ? Being the "starter" is not what its about. I'm embarrassed to think any grown man would raise his kid to think thats what its about.

Nobody would have ever "blamed" BB for transferring at the end of the season, but quitting on his teammates mid season ?

No. Not in my household I'll tell you that much, and apparently not in CNSs household either.

Feel free to raise a quitter someday, but I highly discourage that if you want him/her to be successful.

dont have a problem one way or the other but national perception is a big deal with kids and their parents during the recruiting process. I am sorry you cant see that. And you can bet the Au's and OM and LSU's of the world will use that against NS during crootin time.

And Saban will point to the rings, the players in the NFL, the tons of NFL executive quotes of how Bama players are more prepared for the NFL than most other college players, the NCAA GPR that shows Bama has the best grad rate in the conference, and the dozens if not hundreds of testimonials about how much Saban prepared them for life from former players that did not quit mid season.

You know which perception is going to win? It ain't going to be what some dumbass like Finebaum said.

ETA - How many of the Bama transfers are in the NFL today? I can't think of any except Corey Grant.

You're an Auburn fan right? That whole name-calling playground rant while intense was seriously lacking objectivity or insight.

Feelings hurt, got it sweetie. The closest you've ever been to a live hit is a picture in Sports Illustrated. Tough guy my arse.

We have half a dozen phrases out of Saban's mouth a year that are taken out of context and go over pundits' heads. I think Alabama will get past what Joe Schmoe said on ESPN first take or Sportscenter.

This thread has turned into a shite show. I like Barnett but quitting 4 games in is inexcusable . Especially when given every opportunity to take the bull by damn horns. Hope he does well wherever he lands but hope Hurts does better.

These are professional athletes competing in a billion dollar sport. And they don't get paid. And the coaches make a fricking killing.

Anyone bitching about Barnett transferring is a moron. It's business.

I was the first to say the loser transfers on here. I even said Hurts would transfer at the end of the season if he wasn't given the job being the the better player in practice and scrimmages and took a beating for it.

I'm not against a player transferring. You have to do what is best for you....

...... however, transferring four games into the season???

That is a punk arse bitch move nobody respects. He better hope he finds some balls and stops shitting himself in pressure situations, because he is making a bad name for himself already as being a weak-willed quitter who couldn't beat out a three-star from Texas.

Knowing his "competitive" nature the only way he'll be playing is if they hand him the spot without competition.

Anyways, I hope you BB 'week-four transfer' supporters have stayed consistent in how you view transfers. I don't remember seeing all this support for our other transfers this offseason and they didn't abandon their team mid-season.

Alright man. I was hoping the numerous posts of yours I've removed in this thread would be the hint you needed but it's clearly not working. I like you. I think you're a good poster and provide value to the board. But you have got to ditch the "me against the world - I told all of you this would happen months ago and caught a lot of shite for it" routine. If you can't turn the corner on that, you're going to get the boot for a few weeks. Maybe longer.

There are a few others in this thread who are getting personal too often. Consider this your warning as well.
