Thank goodness there's a 12 team playoff. Bama will not go undefeated against that schedule.

Schedule so far:

Aug. 31 - Western Kentucky
Sept. 7 - South Florida
Sept. 14 - @ Wisconsin
Sept. 21 - TBD
Sept. 28 - Georgia
Oct. 5 - TBD
Oct. 12 - TBD
Oct. 19 - @ Tennessee
Oct. 26 - TBD
Nov. 2 - TBD
Nov. 9 - @ LSU
Nov. 16 - Mercer
Nov. 23 - @ Oklahoma
Nov. 30 - Auburn

TBD games - Missouri, South Carolina, @ Vanderbilt

Also based on how the schedule breaks down it looks like a season that will include two bye weeks. I'd imagine one will be Nov. 2. Oct 5 or 12 looks like another good spot.

2 losses with that schedule still easily gets Bama in the top 12. Hell, depending on how it shakes out, even 10-3 would be good enough. A team making it to the SEC championship means top 12 regardless of the outcome.

This will be a long offseason. I'm excited as Hell for next year. The seqson doesn't hinge on one game played way back in September anymore.

I have been making my way to each SEC stadium and I reckon Oklahoma is next on the list.

Went to Kentucky this year with my daughter. That was enjoyable. Did Texas last year with my son.

I'm working on making that trip to Madison, Wisconsin. Should be amazing that time of year. Badgers fans seem pretty good to hang with, too.

And a true road game, too.
