He made it to OKC. Byrne would look like an idiot nationally. Losing in the regionals to MTSU would have given him all the ammo he needed to make changes. Plus his first thing on his agenda is replace Bo in BB

not disagreeing with your point that it is the time but the optics are not right this year. You can see that right? He probably has a lot of support from boosters and most importantly from current and former players. Whatever happens this year will have to be initiated by Murph and not Greg.

If they keep him much longer, interest in Bama softball will start to suffer greatly.

Initiated by Murph. What the hell is he going to initiate? He is cool with being a mediocre coach with great talent and getting a paycheck. He has had stud pitchers and wasted them by just riding them to good records and ultimately failing. Has nothing to do with optics keeping him good lord people he should have been let go last year.
