TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- Alabama head coach Nick Saban kicked off Week 5 with a noon press conference Monday. Below is everything Saban said on the first day of Ole Miss week.
"Just reviewing the last game, probably the most complete game we’ve played in all phases, offense, defense and special teams. The thing that’s really most obvious in this game is when we do things correctly, we have success. When we don’t, we have negative plays on offense and give up plays on defense. We give the other team opportunities to make plays in special teams. It’s pretty obvious that if you know what to do, how to do it and why it’s important to do it that way and you go out there and do it with confidence, that you’re going to have the best chance to play aggressively, be physical, play the kind of football that we want to play with discipline and toughness here. And you do that by how you practice and how you prepare for games. So we have to be able to build on this so that we can continue to improve.
"We’re excited about the SEC home opener here this Saturday on CBS. It’s an opportunity to play what could be arguably the best team we’ve played so far this year. I know Ole Miss had a tough loss last week. But they’ve played well in a couple of games and had a couple of good wins. The quarterback’s playing really well for them. The backup quarterback came in and played even better in the game last week. They’ve got a really good runner. They’ve got some really good skill players at receiver. Got good specialists, good return guys. Their defense has been al ot more aggressive this year in terms of creating negative plays, sacks, tackles for loss. Those types of things. This is a well-coached team and this is a team that we’ve struggled with some in the past. We’re certainly going to have to have a great week of preparation to be able to play well in this game."
topics covered in the transcript / video above:
On how the SEC has evolved into passing teams
ON INJURY UPDATES ON DJ DALE, TERRELL LEWIS, WILL REICHARD
"Those guys will probably not practice today. But we expect them to practice tomorrow or the next day. We’re hopeful that they’ll be ready to play in this game. (Reichard) may be a little more day-to-day and a little more questionable than the other guys. I don’t think this is something with a kicker that you can sort of push the guy along and have him have something that’s going to aggravate him for the rest of the season, so we need to get it right now."

Now we just need to find a RT that plays every play. Wills almost got Tua killed yesterday taking plays off.Now we just need to find a RT that plays every play.
Jedrick Wills had a great game. I am no expert but according to our staff he was one of the players of the game. Cole Cubelic said he was the best RT he saw on Saturday.
Charlie Potter agreed with him. So there's that.

Stick that troll stuff up your arse.
If you weren't so all or nothing hyperbolic with every post maybe people wouldn't think you were a troll.
People a whole lot smarter than you about football and a whole lot more knowledgeable about O-line play view Wills as a good tackle at the college level, so something tells me that you are mis-evaluating.

I've only posted on this site for a month and it's easy to tell that he's a troll. Just wonder why the moderators keep allowing him to post here. Enough is enough.

You'd have two of the most aggressive defensive minds in the country together... hm.
