The portal also reopened today and stays open through the 30th. Curious to see if any of our guys enter the portal after A-Day.

Just hope we hold on to both of the QBs once a starter is named.

Official starter won’t be named until week 2 vs Texas from what I heard. The comp will go into the first game. I don’t think Milroe or Simpson will pull a Blake Barnett. Whoever loses the battle should remain the backup until the season is over...then they can hit the portal.
I really like Holstein and Lonergan but I think Lonergan is so underrated. Big, strong body and can move. Good arm and can throw lasers on the run.

I think he missed a Feb 1 cutoff date. He had to declare by then to be able to play at another SEC school this fall.

Just saw a clip from the scrimmage on twitter nothing to crazy just Milroe hitting our TE 84 on a TD. Nice coverage tho.

I like our QBs. Milroe is more confident and comfortable in the pocket and he’s also an extreme athlete. Simpson for his age and time looks pretty solid. I watched some film of Milroe from last year to be fresh. He is better. All around.
Our secondary is faster. We always seemed slow last year. The first thing I noticed was how much quicker our secondary is this year, from my eyes view.
WR’s are good. Young guys from last year. The usual names plus Benson.
OL is changing a lot. But QBs have had time to throw.
I’ll have more just throwing out some stuff quickly.

Based on spring so far it's looking like Milroe is going to be the guy for better or worse. Ty has some catching up to do.

My biggest takeaway right now is you can tell we have new coaching. They are lighting up this team. The energy is different.
