yep, last time I remember this happening was when Matt Womack hurt his foot and Willis took over RT and pretty much held that position the rest of the year with Womack being the 1st Oline off the bench and playing for whomever was unable to go at game time. But, the Oline is usually left alone once it is set at beginning of season.

Iirc, Bama made OL changes earlier this season: Owens from C to RT w/ Dalcourt taking over at C.

I recall some other times it seemed unsettled a few games into the season. 2016 specifically comes to mind with Cotton,Shank, and Pierschbacher bouncing around the interior OL

I hope the light switches on for him, and it does take time for an OL to gel and C is toughest of all making the assignment calls, BUT he has seemed completely out of his element at times and has whiffed or been on something awful.
