He had some comments today related to the “poor me’s” and basically a lot of guys just not showing mental toughness in fall camp.
Reading the tea leaves it is starting to sound like an immature and/or entitled group as a whole, obviously with some junkyard dogs mixed in there. Not getting great vibes from the coach speak this fall camp. Get the feeling CNS feels like the team isn’t where he’d like them to be (moreso than normal)
I think we’ll be the most talented team in the country, but they can go 10-2 if they’re primadonnas

I agree, Saban’s remarks usually are very telling if you know how to read between the lines. His comments this year have me concerned about this year’s team. I definitely don’t have the warm and fuzzies a week and half out from game 1. Toughness issues, discipline issues, OL issues, injuries, doesn’t sound happy with any of the TE’s, timing issues in the passing game. I expect we will beat Miami simply because we are more talented then they are and our coaching staff is better, but starting week 3, may need to get the Pepcid ready.

Where has he said anything about toughness issues? And discipline issues? You mean from just one player? Timing issues in the passing game? When has Saban said that?

Do you listen to his pressers? Like at all? He has specifically mentioned or alluded to every single thing you quoted either about a specific player or multiple players in general. Do your homework before calling someone out. Is he sending a message to his guys? No doubt. But the fact that he’s still sending those messages a few days before game week is a little concerning.
