Not at all but if the media skewers us for playing patsies then they need to grill Auburn, Georgia, Clemson and Oklahoma for playing soft schedules. I'm tired of the double standard. Beating up on Bama seems to be a the low hanging fruit. They need to ask Dabo why he plays Wofford and Kirby why Georgia plays Austin Peay.

Which proves my point that the media is looking for any little thing they can to bash Alabama. They never do it to other schools.

If the power 5 only played themselves, they would bitch at all of the power 5 schools. Not just at Alabama

People are going to bitch at everything. They bitch about schools playing soft schedules but if you take out those small, nobody games, they’ll bitch about small schools needing a paycheck.

Let the little guys worry about that, and just go P5 vs. P5. That would be my choice

You're right. It's like we're damned if we do and damned if we don't.

I don’t mind the cupcake games. Reason being is that it’s a opportunity for some the walk-on’s that will never see any playing time in the big games. The 4th and 5th string guys that work hard but don’t have the talent to see playing time.

Best Saban Wins At Alabama Not Counting Championships

First games that come to mind were the 2008 wins against #9 Clemson and the "blackout" at #3 Georgia.

Those were some extremely workman-like dismantlings of highly-ranked teams, and they established Saban's ethos going forward.

UGA was preseason #1 and #3 at the time Bama played them.
