Bone posted a followup that he almost never heard Baker's name in recruiting calls the last few months and even posted a quote from McKinely Jackson that basically said "Coach Baker is cool but he doesn't really recruit".

Lupoi was a well thought of DL coach. And, we all know his recruiting prowess.

Nothing yet.

McKinney as of yet hasn’t informed the staff but is expected to before COB. If he stays it would have been with a conversation between now and then. If it changes I’ll let you know.

I thought McKinney was a heavy lean to stay??? This is why it's best to just wait until they actually make a real statement

I read some followup (from regular posters, not mods) that said Kelly could move to ILBs as he has done it before and Scott/Ansley could both do the CB/S thing. And, if Ansley is DC, obviously maybe a little less positional coaching so that would work.

Kelly does have some(albeit small) experience with LBs. Definitely could see him getting a title change/promotion too.

Ansley just feels right the more I think about it.

Everything I read was that he was one of the 2-3 who clearly thought it was in their best interest to go but emotionally wanted to stay (along with Wills/Harris).

This doesn't seem too shocking.

Agree - it's basically a more advanced version of Schumann from UGA and with a masters from Pruitt and not Kirby.

Actually I’ll tell you the rumors Golding leaves. Bo and Tosh comeback and Ansley as the DC.

Ansley has done an impressive job. I was paying attention last night, and he's aggressive and his calls seemed much more logical than what we have now

They looked exactly like a Pruitt defense last night to me. If Ansley is calling plays, then that is a great sign (I assume he does, but I don't know that for a fact).

These last 2 hires were suppose to be "better" than Dunbar, and neither have been.

He was the best technical DL Coach Bama had, yet remembered for botching the recruitment of a kid that has since transferred from UF.

Yet Kool and now Baker haven't lit the recruiting trail up either

Tosh is a really good position coach and can recruit
Bo is an average position coach but really good recruiter
Ansley can recruit and seems to be a really good DC

That was my take as well. Looked like a Pruitt called defense, but I didn't see any signs of him calling plays.
