Thomas was a defensive end that, according to the story, was someone they liked to use in pass rush. He withdrew from school for what O called 'personal reasons.' He's nowhere near as big a loss as Divinity but it is still a hit to their depth.
O said he hopes the kid will be back in the spring so it may be a legit personal issue instead of either a business decision or failed weed test (depending on which rumor you believe) like Divinity.
