Rojas is still more athletic than anyone inside last year, but is he tall enough?

shite.

Maybe we can stop having live practices. We just teach on a white board and have a quiz afterwards.

Cecil tweeted that we will have a road game. So you’d have to look at which teams in the Big 12 played away last year and that would be our options I think

That very uncommon to have three preseason knee injuries in two years. Not sure if its just terrible luck or maybe they need to change something about the way we are conditioning or practicing.

My bad, thought I had seen it was a knee. Just terrible luck then.

Rojas’ knee injury wasn’t basketball related and Tchikou tore his Achilles. So only one knee injury from basketball.

I don't know Alex's game. Haven't watched practices or talked to coach. But from the outside looking in, I am thinking that Alex needs another year in the weight room in order to be more effective. Just a thought.

I suspect that Reese and Rojas (sp?) may get a shot as backup.

No question about it we absolutely can't lose Bruner & Rojas inside muscle if we want to have a well balanced team.

The 5 big 12 teams who were on the road last year were Baylor, Kansas State (who we played), Iowa State, Oklahoma State, and TCU.

If they all get a home game, I imagine we’d play Oklahoma State or TCU.

Oats said the Non-Conf will consist of:

Houston
Clemson (Holiday Hoopshiving)
Stanford(Plus 2other Maui games)
Big12
3 Buy games.(I’m guessing we keep JSU, South Alabama, and UNC-Asheville)

That’s a pretty strong SOS

Achilles is scary. That can alter a basketball player’s career. See Cousins and Kobe Bryant. Hopefully as young as he is though he can make a full recovery

I just hope it isn’t some stupid shite, like not properly stretching before practice. Achilles injuries are typically easier to avoid with proper stretching.

Yeah, how the frick do you tear an Achilles in practice?

I'm guessing we get TCU and Jamie Dixon in Ft Worth. Please, not last year's #1 Baylor and I don't want Prohm and ISU. Our OOC schedule is hard enough, we don't need to go picking fights with the baddest arse on the block or the one that wants to embarrass us the worst.

I had surgery on my foot and part of the surgery was on my Achilles and it ain’t nothing to play with. It’s still sensitive 10 years later.
