Alabama basketball coach Nate Oats said 6-11 freshman Alex Tchikou was recovering well after Achilles surgery. “He’s super energized, buzzing all around practice on his scooter. He’s just starting in the weight room...we’d like to bulk him up, maybe to 240-245 pounds.”

Chad, I just called Maui Invit, 11/5/20, and they advised no ticket sales as of now. Have you heard anything?

Have not heard anything new either. They are still saying that the tournament will follow North Carolina guidelines on mass gatherings due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

That’s a pretty tough way to start the conference season. Ole Miss game will be must win looking at that next stretch.

Love to see this: the SEC schedule wraps on Mar 2/3 (Tues/Wed), with the tournament not scheduled to start until March 10th. That gives a window on the weekend of Mar 5-7 to possibly make up any postponed games

If we are ever going to take the next step, we’ve gotta beat teams like that so may as well beat them early

Good news is we took Auburn to OT in their house and almost beat them in year 1 under Oats. That’s now a winnable game with a good coach whereas it used to be an automatic loss lol

I also added the new walk-ons to the front page as well and updated Jaden Quinerly’s number (he’s now #24 instead of #10)

What’s the boards expectations for JQ this season? What are his strengths weaknesses if any?

CNO speaks highly of him but as far as production, I am curious what kind of production you all hope to see.
