2-1 this weekend isn’t the end of the world.
Didn’t do enough to beat DBU. Can’t leave the bases loaded with no outs and can’t drop a routine fly ball.

DBU will do that to several more teams this year. DBU is the more recent version of So Alabama under Eddie Stanky. Tough loss but a very good game to build on.

So near and yet so far. Two more big ones on tap for this week (weather permitting) with Jacksonville State Tuesday and Troy on Wednesday.

Tuesday's contest with the Gamecocks will continue the Tide's '$2 Tuesday' at The Joe. The deal is one of Alabama's season-long promotions, featuring $2 reserved tickets for all fans in attendance.
