unless he just wants to be close to home

He’s actually from Brentwood, TN. I’m guessing maybe his options were limited after sitting out a year without any explanation.

Why baseball programs could get more scholarships, football eliminate walk-ons after House v. NCAA settlement (cbssports.com)

The way that different sports are funded and how many scholarships are awarded could be changing

Alabama's Justin Lebron and Gage Miller were selected to American Baseball Coaches Association/Rawlings All-Southeast Region teams, the organization announced Tuesday morning.

Lebron earned a spot on the first team while Miller was honored as a second-teamer. The pair of infielders help make up a collection of six ABCA/Rawlings All-Region honors for Alabama over the last four seasons. Prior to the Tide's two selections in 2021, the program had not had an ABCA All-Region honoree since 2012.

Never know what the team will look like but I would expect (from returning players) Quick, Adams , Banks/Morris starting and Myers closing to Lebron, Swinney, Staton, Portera on the infield and petrutz, and the transfer outfielder to have big roles next year

Not going out on a limb there I know

Alabama's Gage Miller was selected as a third team All-American by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA), the organization announced Wednesday.

Miller is the Crimson Tide's first All-American named to a first, second or third team since 2021 when Chase Lee and Sam Praytor were recognized as third-teamers. The accolade is also Miller's second of the postseason, as the junior was tabbed to the ABCA/Rawlings All-Southeast Region Team earlier this week.

No first hand knowledge here, but from what I heard during the season, I don’t expect him to go anywhere. I believe there are some family ties to Alabama that probably contributed to him coming here in the first place.

I’m glad your source was right. I started getting nervous after learning A&M’s HC openly talking about how hard he tried getting Adams before his signed to UA and A&M lost one of their lefty starters for next year with an injury. Adams just announced he’s back.

Who else did we lose or pickup this week? Did we fill up the OF yet?
