The arms we've had to use in relief the last few days just aren't good enough to get out SEC hitters.

Giles
6.2 IP
14 H
10 ER
3 BB
8 K
13.50 ERA

Eddington
7.2 IP
12 H
8 ER
5 BB
10 K
9.39 ERA

It's not a good baseball team right now.

Missing 2 of our 3 weekend starters doesn't help (and messes things up down the line like dominos), but those aren't our only issues.

It's been very disappointing so far in SEC play.
Yep.
I surely was expecting more from them this year. They're very mediocre offensively, and the pitching can be embarrassing at times.

The good news this series is that a few of our top-of-the-lineup guys are starting to warm up a little bit.

That’s the 4th called third strike looking I’ve seen in 4 innings

Just bad baseball. This is not impressive in year 4. At all.

Walks, errors, bad at-bats, etc etc

I know injuries and playing 3 top 10 teams in a row doesn't help but this is pretty bad. Something doesn't change soon we may be worrying about making it to Hoover.

This is more frustrating than 2019. Tennessee was not that good.

Are we better than we were in 2019?

I really don't know.

Barring a major turnaround this year, Bo’s seat will be pretty hot heading into next.

I hate it because circumstances haven't been great and he took over an absolute tire fire..........but at some point the excuses run out. You just have to show some life and give people a reason to feel good about the future.

The next 12 SEC games are, without question, the biggest 12 games of his career.

3 @ TAMU
3 vs Auburn
3 @ Kentucky
3 vs Missouri

They have to go 7-5 at worst over that 12 game period, and in all honesty they probably need to go at least 8-4. Because after that?

3 @ Vanderbilt
3 @ LSU
3 vs Miss St

I will always wonder what would have happened last season if it didn’t get cancelled. We looked the part

Who knows, but we hadn't played anyone with a pulse.
