This is why I struggle to see how the lottery scholarship is that big of a deal with regard to baseball.

I think it takes pretty comparable credentials to qualify for a lottery scholarship as an academic achievement scholarship at UA. Add in that on the top end of test scores, UA gives full scholarships more than other SEC schools, and I don’t see the issue with regard to baseball.

I grew up in Tennessee, and it was cheaper for me to go to UA than UTK even on out of state tuition.
