Anyone know when we will start hearing how the Fall exit meetings went? I’ve already seen players at other programs share they’re going to be at a Juco in the Spring, so I’m curious how UA’s staff is handling it when they seemed to have a lot of kids out there in the Fall.

I’d be surprised if we saw anything (other than player social media posts) until after the holidays. I’d like to get the official schedule too.

It's never easy trying to figure out the SEC West in preseason, but right now it feels like Arkansas and LSU are in the top tier, then it's anybody's guess.
My guess? @AlabamaBSB is next in the pecking order, a legit CWS contender. I have a lot of conviction in those power arms.

2024 Inductee to the American Baseball Coaches Association Hall of Fame - Coach Jim Wells

(57 min podcast)

This week on the ABCA Podcast is 2024 ABCA Hall of Fame class inductee former Alabama head coach, Jim Wells. Wells retired in 2009, in his 15 seasons at Alabama he finished as all-time winningest coach for the Crimson Tide, most SEC wins in that time period, three trips to Omaha and tied for most SEC tournament titles with Skip Bertman and Paul Maineiri. Wells led the Crimson Tide to back-to-back CWS appearances in 96’ and 97’. Wells got his start in coaching as a 7th grade baseball coach. Wells joined Skip Bertman’s LSU staff as a graduate assistant in 1987. Wells went back to his alma mater Northwestern State in 1990 as head coach. Wells first season at Northwestern State they posted 38 wins and had not had a winning season in 13 years. Wells did the same thing at Alabama in 1995 winning 42 games which was most wins for a first-year head coach since 1907. Success followed Wells to every spot he went to and finished with 817 wins in 21 seasons as a head coach.

That would be amazing considering who we all lost to other programs. I'm looking forward to the season. I feel like we hired the baseball version of Nate Oats as far as offensive power goes. Let's hope it translates just as well for the baseball program

Top 130 Transfers & we got 6 of them is remarkable considering staff changes.

I think our Freshman class should land on the list once D1 posts all of them

Remind me, is that roster a normal size? I can’t remember the rules with it other than the 11.7 scholarships ??
