Boz, i would like to know if you were able to gather any insight or "feel" to what the team members think when Tua or Jalen are playing. Is there any visible difference on the field.

Plus, why do you think Saban will not announce starting qb?

I really think this could be the best OL in the nation, and our best since 2012. There's three potential first rounders on this OL IMO. Potential being the key.

Najee was good. He has a great lower balance, he doesn’t go down easily when hit low.

I'm really hyped for Najee to get 100+ touches. He's gonna be a beast. The only "knocks" I could have on Henry were that the way his body was built, if you went low you could trip him up a little too easy and he wasn't quite as shifty as you'd like, but he didn't need to be. Najee is a similar size, but his weight is distributed better, and while he may not have the same top speed (or he could, what do I know?) I think he'll have similar burst and be a bit shifty, while having similar power including running a little bit lower.

Waddle on punt return and looked good

Awesome. I think we've got 3 guys at WR who will see the bulk of the targets, so Waddle won't get a whole lot of looks, but will make some splash plays on offense. However, I've been hoping he'll be our return guy. I think he could be absolutely dynamic as a PR. I also really like Jacobs potential as a KR, was he back there?

I think Shavers, and maybe Townsend, will have some things to say about that.

Yes, insiders are saying that the receivers hang their heads in disgust whenever Jalen trots on the field to take over the first team offense

No I don’t really notice any body language difference they just line up and run the plays.

Saban likely won’t announce to get most likely Jalen from transferring. While everyone sees that Tua is better we still need an experienced backup in the event Tua goes down. Mac didn’t look that great yesterday.

People might be overlooking this group, I didn’t see anything glaring and they were really gelled together for so early IMO. They might be one of the best since 2012.

Wills has a nasty streak btw he is straight violent.

That's a lie and you know it. None of the coaches would put up with that garbage, and, frankly, it's the kind of thing huddie peckerwrecker and river shitty tider would post before they got banned.

In those highlights Juedy vs Patrick was worth the price of admissions with talent vs talent making both kids better.

Boz, how did Surtain look? He's obviously got all the tools and then some, but it can be hard for a true freshman to get on the field at CB for Bama.

Jeudy looked good in that Highlight clip, I assume he is our #1 at WR.

Didn't Womack miss spring practice? Another site had him wearing a black jersey the first few days of fall camp as well.

He did. I think Womack will come in if needed, he's got experience, Leatherwood is just more talented and took advantage of the opportunity.

In 2019 Leatherwood kicks over to LT and Womack is back in at RT (or moves to a Guard spot) giving us 3 guys on the 2019 OL with plenty of experience

I really think this kid is going to surprise if he ever gets his shot. His development is coming along very nice.
Also if Williams is the back up center I can see Scott maybe stepping in at that left tackle spot.
If Williams has to play some center.
