What’s a realistic get in price to expect for a potential rematch with Texas?

Never been to a national title before and I’ve been looking at tickets. They’re sitting near 2K right now and I’m not paying anywhere near that.

Depends on Texas vs Washington. I’d say around 1000 for uppers if Udub wins. 1400+ if Texas is there.

Washington would obviously be much, much cheaper. If Texas, you are going to have to pay out the arse just to get in the building.

If Texas wins we're probably looking at the most expensive CFB ticket ever.

Texas in Houston? Good luck with that ticket.

The fees are what makes it unreasonable. I've been monitoring ticket prices for the title game as well and priced out two tickets on multiple sites. The fees are approximately one-third of the price. It's ridiculous.

If you don’t get it through TidePride tickets will be impossible. My understanding is that 20,000 tickets will go to each fanbase. That leaves at most 35,000 seats. Every corporate ticket will go to Texas people and what few secondary market tickets are available will be swept up by the hungrier fanbase that is also local

Look up 2nd and 26 prices for a good comparison. Exact same scenario

You’ll be able to sweep them off a selling Texas fan for half that

If Texas loses, you’ll be able to get in the door for $300

Those of us who bought tickets from Tide Pride to the Bama-Clemson final in the Bay Area a few years ago took a bath. Around $450 face value and they dropped to around $150 on StubHub.

Yeah I’m in on a relatives TP points for the natty and if Washington wins I’m sure I’ll be paying double what they’ll be running, but it is what it is. If Texas wins, those things will be one of the highest tickets in history.

Yea I don’t think they are gonna drop much before the semifinals. Here are the scenarios

Buy Now
1. Bama-UW: Lose a few hundred buck
2. Bama-Texas: Save upwards of a thousand
3. Michigan-Washington: Probably break even
4. Michigan-Texas: Turn a huge profit. That market will be bonkers

Buy Later
1. Bama-Texas: Better take out a second mortgage
2. Bama-Washington: Waiting worked out and you save a couple hundred

At this point I may just pull for us to play Washington. Obviously I’d love to get revenge on Texas but I’d like to not go broke buying tickets
