I fear our defense may be really, really bad.
I don’t think so. A lot of that came on live ball turnovers from an inexperienced group. We locked in for long stretches in the first half. Not super worried here.

Hollaway will be back. Who loses minutes?

Diaz will. As will Cloer, but he honestly hasn't looked bad other than his shooting.

Cole won’t lose minutes. Too good a shooter. Gotta let him play his way back into a groove.

Diaz for sure. He’s really raw.

Diaz will play less. Qayden will play slightly less just from the standpoint of he won’t be a starter. He’s looked good but the minutes have to come from somewhere.

Garrison wins the hard hat again. If you look at Diaboute and Garrison as a trade I’ll take that all day.

Also of the 5 triple doubles in program history, 3 of them have been under Oats. The other 2 were points, rebounds, and blocks(Roy Rogers)

Ark St got some runs in when we were sloppy on offense and disorganized on defense with some backbench and/or experimental lineups. I think there are things I’ve seen on defense to suggest they can be good when lineup and rotations are locked in.

What was the number of possessions game 1 versus tonight’s game? Our defense wasn’t great but PPG isn’t too useful of a metric these days.

Would’ve been nice for him to have played in our exhibition games to try and figure it out.
