Oats took zero blame for the 28-6 run.

sad to hear. he usually owns it. will say no one is more competitive than oats which is a blessing but also a curse at times. hes better at swallowing his pride than he used to be and his improved in game adjustments in recent years have shown it but this one probably stung too much. i expect him to figure it out by conference play.

Man, I hated the interaction between Bethea and Nate the entire game. Bethea was not happy at all when he got taken out quickly in the first half, looked completely disinterested the entire second half sitting on the bench and during timeouts and then was almost defiant when he played in the second half taking a three and making it and almost looking at the bench like why the f have I not been playing.

I have no idea what message was being sent by Nate, or why he didn't get Bethea in the game more, but the Freshmen reacted better than Bethea did with how hard they were coached.

Oats' brain operates like someone that got hit in the head too much as a kid.

He was probably sick of watching some of our guards be absolutely useless offensively (and defensively) after coming off of a breakout game. I would be too.
