The camera doesn't show you where the defenders are so its impossible to tell. I’d like to see the overhead view of it.

It would have been better than a sack obviously either way but I’d also like to see the pass blocking hold up more than 1.5 seconds on a 3rd and 9.

Milroe apologists are delusional. You will twist yourself in knots to defend this guy.

We’ll see how Penix does vs Michigan tomorrow night when he is getting hit before his wrs have turned around. Its clear that the Milroe haters never played Qb.

I completely agree. Let’s watch Penix against the Michigan defense and then compare and contrast.

Its 3rd and 9 and the guy hes saying we shouldve thrown it to is two yards beyond the LOS. I’m not sure he would’ve gotten the first down, he most likely would’ve had to break at least one tackle.

You're blind. Niblack might have housed that. The safeties are deep and the corners are in man trailing their WRs. Niblack is running free. There's nobody there to tackle him.

If Michigan lets UW receivers/TEs run free, Penix will throw for 500 yards.

QB can change protection. Milroe doesn’t.

Good QBs see that open space *right in front of them* with the pocket collapsing, and they dump that off in 1.5 seconds.

Come on, my dude. Milroe doesn’t have the football IQ. Numbers are great, but numbers don’t win games. If he was a good QB, his numbers would be even higher.

Milroe couldve checked it down more and our o line also got there asses whipped when we tried to drop back and pass. Both can be true. Its not as simple as change the protection and you don't get sacked vs an elite defense like Michigan’s.

I think UW would absolutely smoke UM if they tried the same defensive game plan that they used vs. us. Not only does UW handle the protection much better, but Penix is an experienced guy is elite moving around in the pocket and avoiding the rush while keeping his eyes downfield. I think UM will play more coverage and less pressure, but we will see.

Washington has the best offensive line in the country and the oldest and most experienced QB in Power 5.
