Anyone else surprised that Raekwon got drafted in the second round?

I felt like Rae was a disappointment who peaked in his sophomore season. I thought he'd be a 4th round pick.

Actually yes. When I saw it I had to double take. He has all the metrics but vanished in the interior.

Not as surprised as I was to see Hurts go in the second round, but good for them. Hope they do well

I actually wasn't surprised by Jalen. He proved a lot at Oklahoma and leading up to the draft. Jalen was lights out at the combine including his board work. In today's NFL Jalen has the size and skill set to be a good player.

More surprised Jalen went in the 2nd. Raekwon has the physical tools he just needs to play hard.

If you watch any game where he was up against a decent defense, he reverted back to running to the sidelines and throwing it away. The KSU game was the start of the decline. That said, he’s now with a decent NFL team that should give him the support he needs. He just can’t play with a “run first” mentality in the NFL.

Yes, but 6’7 dudes that weigh 310 and can move are a rare commodity. Hope he has a great career down there.

Of course, it was my Dolphins who did this.

I was extremely surprised. One thing about this draft tho is that there was a run on WRs and DTs that made teams take guys early. Besides his play level he has shown immaturity.

NFL puts so much into measurables, and he has them, so not really. He has shown that he can be a really good football player. Just has to keep the motor running.
