Yeah, that guy doesn’t want to be here.

This.

I’m not saying he is capable of doing any better, bc anyone foolish enough to dropback 9 consecutive times to start the game with a young QB in that environment is baffling.

The offense had moreover than rush attempts through the 4 possessions of the game, and as a result of his ignorance, UT fans were almost able to light up cigars halfway through the first quarter.

HOW does someone not ask him about why he thought his gameplan and “scripted plays” were a good idea when playing a defense that leads the SEC in sacks and pressuring the QB, along with their very best guy on the DL working against the backup Center?

Why no rush attempts?

Why nothing short and easy for KR?
(Like the Naked off counter to the TE that UT threw on their first play, that’s well designed and makes it easy on a QB)

Why are you STILL lining up in Empty formations after ESPN posted in the middle of the SECCG that Bama had completed 5 out of 41 balls when in Empty and suffered 11 sacks or intentional grounding?

All the routes on those “scripted plays” were long and slow developing that required the QB to stay inside the pocket with only 5 on protection.

I feel like he’s trolling us but he did this same shite with the Seahawks.

Macdonald came to him 3 separate times to try wing get him to run the ball and at least attempt to sustain drives and he still didn’t change a single thing.

He was fired the day the season ended and the Seahawks won the freaking Super Bowl as soon as they canned Grubb.

How can your ego be that strong?

How does that not make you re-evaluate things?

I guarantee you, that Grubb felt pissed off and was feeling disrespected by Macdonald as opposed to taking his words into consideration.

I cannot stand the man.

i'm wondering if every time grubb sits down to work up a gameplan he gets that evil wicked grin on his face and replays the boo's and criticisms. then draws up a plan of failure.

or, maybe hes just incompetent, and happens to have friends in great places.

For Grubb...

When are you leaving?

Serious question, though:

At the University of Alabama, should an offensive coordinator who finished #123 in the country in rushing yards per carry and yards per game get to keep his job? If so, why?

If you were a head coach at one of the top five programs in the country and you were looking to hire an offensive coordinator, would you hire an OC who had that record the previous year? If so, why?

"Neyland Stadium is known to be a difficult place to play for visiting teams, and you knew you had a young QB who was going into that kind of environment for the first time. What made you decide that the best course of action was to ignore the running game and put everything on his shoulders?"

"It became obvious very quickly that Tennessee was blitzing on just about every play. Why did you not try to take advantage of that with screens and draws?"

"You have an offensive line who is struggling to pass block, and a QB whose mobility is one of his best weapons. Why did you not have him roll out of the pocket more often?"
