Ty, Grubb, and TKIII give me hope that the leadership will have the team somewhat ready to fight in this letdown spot. The defensive injuries, Mizz having 3 weeks to rest/prepare, and the difficulty in getting emotionally/physically ready for 3 big weeks in a row is a lot.
One reporter asked Drink why Mizz came out flat last year after the bye week and he hadn’t even thought about it. However, he did say they focused on having a sharpness during the bye week. I’m hoping they are a bit rusty and not quite prepared for the physicality of a top tier SEC game. Miz is a team that still may be intimidated by the script A, so we need to punch them in the mouth early and not give them hope.
