That is weird . Unless she is getting a masters in something Bama doesn’t offer , strange to see a longtime starter leave. She didn’t provide a lot of pop but hit ok

Kinda insinuates Bama retooling roster and May have initiated this ?

Was she a slap hitter? If so, there should be some happy “fans”.

Gonna keep an eye out for more info on KB, but looking to the future: Three Bama signees on the team.

I thought Maddie may come back

here is my take.. KB knows next year is a huge rebuild and she may be transfering to a team who has a ton of talent coming back. She wants to be part of a natty. Look for her to go to someone who did good this year who has a nucleus coming back. I dont follow SB on a national scale to know who those teams are. But UCLA and OK are always good along with AZ

That's good in all but Alabama will be right in the middle of those teams!

If I remember correctly, earlier this year I think it was an article from The Athletic that stated one of the quirks with the transfer portal is as an athlete you have to enter it if you're looking at grad schools, even if you don't intend to keep competing in athletics. Obviously in the past if you were a senior that probably wouldn't apply, but with all the athletes getting an extra year of eligibility you might see it a lot now.

KB is a pre-med major, so my guess is she’s continuing to pursue that at an appropriate school.

FSU May win this thing… sure hope so

We got some talent coming in so I can't wait to see how next season plays out! Montana needs to work on a change up and master it! Then she will be unstoppable!

freshman talent in SB could play at a high level but we are losing a lot of field positions with only 2 starters returning. And one played SS for half the year and is probably not the answer for next year. Our starting 2nd B at the beginning of the year should be returning. Can she play SS as the one who came in for her is pretty good
Jenna JOhnson was our DP and I wonder what field position will she play or can she play one of them. She batted high around 290

last time I counted he has won 1 natty in 25 years. and it has been 9 years since the last won.
He's Alabama softball's version of Les Miles or Mark Richt. Does good enough that you don't think you can do better, but not good enough that it's satisfying. Dunno what the answer is.

KB updated her twitter page
Doesn’t sound like she’s mad - just moving on to the next chapter. Still - was looking forward to seeing her back in Crimson next year.

The FSU pitcher seems a little rattled

Hell I would too if I had to face that lineup
