lost 2-0 with only 2 hits. Our slap hitters stunk it up

not sure if UF will pitch another girl tomorrow but tonights pitcher only needed 95 to take care of things.

She was rehabbing the left knee; this injury was to her right knee. I'll bet her career is over. Rats!

Losing 2-0 pretty much indicates all of the hitters stunk it up. With Murphy as the hitting coach, expect more of the same. Wouldn't surprise me one bit if Florida swept the series. They have a COACH that is not one of the girls.

we have 3 slappers in our starting 9.. NOt a huge fan of that style of play. I did not watch all of the UF game but did not recall a slap hitter among them.

you can score zero runs and still get a lot of hits. Their pitcher was dealing all night and it wouldnt surprise me if she pitches all 3 games. Fouts pitched good but did give up a lot of baserunners but only 2 runs.

Tough night at Rhodes. Claire appears to have blown out the ‘good’ knee. Line up is getting thin. Taylor Clark now playing short stop. Skylar sitting in the stands. (Coach Oats too). Montana pitched well enough to win. Significant holes in the batting order. Looking for answers as we head into tomorrow. Hoping Lexi gets her groove back and the bats come alive.

Florida has been a thorn in Murphy’s side since he arrived at Bama. Honestly, the program is getting stale, needs new blood, fresh ideas. He needs to shake things up but won’t do it. So Byrne needs to shake things up. Murphy thinks it’s his program, not Alabama’s.

This should have been a banner year for Murph since he had a second ace to ride in Kilfoyl. Instead of throwing Montana until her arm falls off, he could spread the load. But as usual, can’t hit. And who’s the hitting coach? Murphy because he won’t hire one. Some things never change.

You and mrbroker are just SAD...You guys don't show up when we are winning shoot I wonder why is that? Always got something negative to say! Florida ain't even impressive shoot Bama hit the ball hard but it went straight to them. Patrick Murphy has more wins than anybody in the country most likely so why constantly attack HIM like he ain't a proven winner? You fans trip me out. Bailey Dowling was our second best hitter/best infielder and she's done for the year. She probably would of won freshman of the year. I don't think Florida lost anyone of this caliber yet so lets be real. Bailey Hemphill & Bailey Dowling was our heart & soul in our lineup but one is hurt so somebody will have to step up and I will say our slappers didn't have a good game yesterday but hey that happens. Its going to be a good series though just don't hide when Bama puts it together NEGATIVE FANS.

so far we down 2-0 half way through the game Goodman is pitching and looks good.

Our hitting is awful against their number 2 pitcher. Brown and Mack have been useless at the plate based on their hitting style. I have to blame that on Murphy for not teaching them how to hit with their feet still.

i have zero confidence in this team getting consistent timely hits. Mack couldnt even sacrifice herself to move the runner to second. I may be wrong but I think Mack is o fer vs UF

Cornell pitching well after taking over

I turn the game on and we promptly let Lindaman hit a grand slam to go up 8-2. My fault guys

an error by our SS kept the inning alive.

I mispoke on Cornell who did not pitch poorly except to that one batter.

Apparently Kilfoyl is not playing today
