I’d have to think that the coach asked players did they really want to be there and some said no, because they also got rid of Fournette who just came off a 1100 yard season and another really good young defensive player.

I’m not sure if we’ll ever see Rueben play football again. He has barely played the last two years - this will be a third. His injury was severe.

And . . . Alabama still has 7 RBs make rosters. 4 as starters. Definitely RBU and a great recruiting tool.

Yea he wanted out. The coach probably asked him who wanted to be there and he didn’t seem interested so they at least got a pick back for him.

Looks like Miami named Fitzpatrick the starter. The over/under of games it will take him to throw 3 plus ints in a game and be replaced by Tua is 4 1/2.
