Per the NFL, Mac Jones joined Dak Prescott as the only rookie QB with at least six games with a completion percentage of 70+ (minimum 20 attempts) in NFL history.
Jones 142.1 rating is the fifth-highest by a rookie quarterback in the Super Bowl era (minimum 20 attempts)

Mac is great at keeping drives alive and giving them a chance to score every possession.

If all the physical limitations the "experts" put on Mac never manifest themselves it's going to be fricking hilarious that the Evil Empire manages to almost seamlessly transition from tGOAT, who no one wanted, to 15+ more years of another franchise QB, who no one wanted.

Every time an announcer talks about Mac Jones they always have to put a caveat in there. He's doing good but it's the system. He's doing good for a weak armed qb. How about just give the guy a compliment without trying to downgrade him?

You know I love the competitiveness of all our three QBs in the league . They are all dyed in the same Saban wool.
Jalen had an outstanding game yesterday and he’ll play in the league for long time if he advances along the same trajectory. Tua’s is a fighter, he’ll fight to the last drop of blood. Mac is proving his mettle every game. Hope is that we’ll finally see some sustained great QB play from former Alabama QBs.

If Mac was black the MSM would be kissing his azz 24x7.
It is sad where we're at these days.
And San Fran signed the smartest QB in the draft.
Joe Montana came out last week stating the 49ers should have taken Mac.

It has nothing to do with black. Lawrence and Zach Wilson are lily white and the “experts” jizzed themselves over them at draft time.
It has everything to do with “athleticism”. Mac doesn’t automatically wow you by breaking tackles in the backfield and slinging a 50 yard throw like Burrow did. Mac’s best attributes are his intelligence along with accuracy. Things that are not immediately apparent but can be lethally efficient.

All the great QB’s in the league had this one thing in common. They can read a defense, process it in real time speed. Marino, Manning’s, Brady and any QB that wasn’t fleet of foot but spent hours studying and understanding how to exploit even the best defensive schemes was a DC worst nightmare. Mac has a super bright future ahead of him. When it’s all said and done, could be the best QB we’ve seen come out of the capstone.

Is Carlton watching the 9ers? They playing inspired ball.

I am not enjoying watching the 49ers defensive line completely disrupt Matt Stafford and the Rams offense.
I hope we are game planning hard for the physical teams we are about to face… gotta go creative, quick tempo, something.

Very much agree.
AJ was a good enough old school QB who’d fit in great at UGA this year and win a championship.
Simms had Kiffin, enough said. Hurts got thrown in so early and ended up being more polished after he left. Tua was generational but let’s admit he slung it one too many times (can’t deny the guy his glory though, so much fun). No disrespect to any of them but Jones is an out of no where rookie of the year candidate in the NFL, wow.

I've been watching but working a bunch. Great game plan on both sides of the ball by the Niners. Rams are helping with drops. Really like the Hufanga kid, he is a gamer.
