A change of scenery will be good for him...but wish it'd been New England. Apparently there's no interest there in upgrading the offensive talent.

I see Kaylee Hartung is back in football. Looks a little different but still too cute.
She was great in CFB.

I can’t believe how much Jalen has improved as a passer. He’s staying in the pocket, has nice touch on the ball and throws good intermediate and long passes.

It helps that he has talent around him, but good for him for believing in himself and working hard for his goals.

He might be the biggest surprise in my sports fan career. If you would have told me that he would be an NFL starter his last year at Bama, I would have taken out a second mortgage to bet you. There was absolutely no way I could have seen him making a roster as a QB; much less a starter.

You definitely weren't alone thinking this.

Doesn't surprise me at all that Jalen is an NFL stud.

See...this is what absolutely blows my mind. At Alabama he was surrounded by talent at the skill positions - albeit young talent, but talent nonetheless. You had Calvin Ridley (1st rounder), Henry Ruggs (1st rounder), Jerry Jeudy (1st rounder), and DeVonte Smith (1st rounder) lining up at WR; you had Damien Harris (starter for New England), Josh Jacobs (1st rounder), and Najee Harris (1st rounder) lined up at the RB position; and you had a multitude of first round offensive linemen protecting him from pass rushers. That offense in 2017 was super talented but the guy looked like he didn't even belong on an FCS squad at times throughout the season.

Now he's a genuine threat to win NFL MVP in 2022. I got to hand it to the guy, he's definitely surpassed whatever expectations I had set for him.

At this point I refuse to bury any young QB that doesn’t have talent around him. Josh Allen was just decent until he got Diggs. Tom Brady suddenly looks old after his guys got hurt. Aaron Rodgers went from MVP to 3-5 after losing Devonte Adams

Mac is in a dead end position in NE. Belichick is tGOAT but he fundamentally doesn’t believe in spending the big bucks on skill position guys.

All this being said, if I could poach one player from Bama in the NFL for my Dolphins it would be Landon Dickerson.

Players get better as they develop and get more experience, especially at the QB position. Look at Joe Burrow in 2018 with all that talent, and then look at what he did in 2019. That is why I scoff so hard at all of the people on this board that want to bash a freshman or sophomore player who might be struggling and declare that they suck. It is straight up idiotic.

Dickerson has been playing well for the Eagles this year. He was a great player at Bama and being coach by Jeff Stoutland will just keep making him better.

He fills a position of need - the Fins OL is turrible. But it's more his attitude than his talent. You need a couple mean SOBs up front. Love that kid.
