What is wrong with refs??? They threw a flag for block n the back and then talked themselves out of it. It was absolutely block n the back.

Refs are so shitty

Big TD by Smitty! Might seal the game for the Eagles.

Diggs gets a penalty on the same play.

Mac Jones runs an entirely different offense. If Matt Patricia put Mac in this offense he would do the same thing Bailey Zappe's doing because he already did it last season and then some.

The line was terrible early on and that's FACTS and so was the receivers.

Our defense didn't have nearly as many turnovers either. They absolutely got abused by The Ravens. FACTS

So your contention is that Matt Patricia, and by extension, Belichick, was forcing Mac Jones into throwing pick after pick, just because they are married to a new system, and didn't call any of the same plays for Mac that they are calling for Zappe now?

Yikes.

Do you actually watch the games?

That’s pretty much what Patrica said. They’re trying to more explosive shite happens when you throw the ball a lot. You can beat the lions and the browns with a rudimentary offense but to hang with the Bills and when Tua is good the dolphins you’re going to have to push the ball down the field. They scraped the whole new offense thing when Hoyer came in and by extension Zappe. Yes I’m a Patriots fan so I watch all the games.

It's true though. Mac's average depth of target is double Zappe's.

I consume a lot of patriots content and if you listen to even lazar on the catch 22 podcast he call it the training wheels on offense for Zappe while Mac is running the training wheels off offense. It also helps that both defenses the last couple of weeks are the worst in the NFL

They're still calling a lot of the same plays for the short game. Short game is still there, with increased use of Smith this year. Go back and watch the replays, then go watch the truncated play-by-play recaps on Youtube. That way, you get to see it twice. Difference is, Zappe isn't lobbing the ball up trying to force things down the field playing hero ball as much as Mac was doing. Zappe has missed a number of open receivers in the long game the past two weeks, but he's taking what's there with Henry and Smith; Mac wasn't.

The chances are slim to none that the Patriots will hang with the Bills, Mac or no Mac, unless the Bills have an off day - no chance if Mac the turnover machine returns. Have to have good Mac, not bad Mac.

Big NFL weekend coming up...Tua returns in the Sunday night primetime game vs the Steelers and Mac likely returns in the Monday Night primetime game vs the Bears.

There's some pressure on Mac. They absolutely have to beat the Bears and he needs to keep turnovers to a minimum. The next INT he throws and they'll be crying for Zappe... nevermind Zappe has played against two of the worst defenses in the NFL.

I feel like Belicheck could call the game blindfolded against the Field's led Bear's offense and keep them out of the endzone.

Aikman is such a chode. JK Scott was simply doing some FG practice reps on the sideline because Hopkins is hurt and Aikman said that he looked "awkward." Looked pretty normal to me.
