FWIW, "insiders" from both Bama and Auburn claim Evans is going to their respective schools.

He actually brought up Evans and said that he has heard Evans is high on Bama and that the barn coaching staff seem to be trying to prepare some of the inner circle there to be ready for him to commit to Bama. He feels Reuben is only a small factor in him picking Bama and that a few things were handled poorly by au's staff during his recruitment. He did not elaborate but did say that it didn't seem au's coaches were on the same page and caused a great deal of misinformation and doubt with the Evans family.
It's not a ton of info I know but this is what's coming from the inner circle over there.
