Interesting. I find it hard to believe that he is being encouraged to look around.

I'm sure Saban remembers what an excellent x and o's job did with Crompton 09. Plus he can recruit. I have no clue if it will happen, but I would be for it.

His recruiting is beastly. I wonder how Town would react though.

Does anyone really think this is the case? I really couldn't see a proud Lane Kiffen limping back to the college ranks as an OC

He should realize he's just a coordinator no shame in that, not everyone is cut out to be a head coach. His dad has made a good career out of just being a coordinator maybe lane should follow suit.

If he can't find a head coaching job maybe? Alabama would be a high profile coordinator position, and he could get another shot at a head coaching gig if he did well. With the amount of talent we have at receiver and running back and potentially a stud QB transferring in, he'd have a lot to work with.

Dude he had Tennessee going in the right direction. He just got a bit egotistical thinking that he could have USC at the top even being hobbled by sanctions. If he stayed at the Rocky Top he would be a big pain in our arses, a big pain.

So apparently Marlon's change of plans has to do with an international track meet in Iceland on January 17th which was supposed to be his Free Shoes OV that weekend. Far as we know, right now OV is still on for January 24. He has a meet on Feb. 1st, so he can't take visits then. He may have to do midweek visits to UCLA, MS State, and Free Shoes.

My husband doesn't like Nussmeier, but I don't know how I'll feel about Kiffin.

Will this hurt us with Town next year?

I think Lane will be fine as long as he's not in front of TV cameras.

See Bruce Feldman has added now that Nuss will be among top 5 paid coordinators in FBS. That’s strong
