Different positions in my opinion. The staff has been trying to get Thomas to OV on Jan 17th and still pushing for both Evans and Carter it seems.

Thomas is 6'5" 240 WDE. Not a replacement for Elam. He'd be a linebacker in our system

The problem with Whitley is that he had very little connection with the other recruits from this class. I think that could have also played a part. His best friend is going to UCLA and even though he could make friends at. Bama,some kids are just more comfortable with who they already know.
I hope our current commits keep in touch with Miller. Miller started recruiting for us, so that is always a good sign.

What's the severity of Brown's injury and will he be ready to go during the Spring? I saw an interview that said he is the most naturally talented CB in the last 10 classes. If true, he needs to start from day 1.
