5-star running back Joe Mixon (Oakley, Calif.) has narrowed his college choices down to just three schools: Wisconsin, Oklahoma and UCLA.
I guess he doesn't want to wait for a Bama offer after all.

I wonder if we are gonna make a run at that TE from Mississippi that just decommitted from Ole Miss?

Cam Sims Scouting Report and Highlights from Bleacher Report:
LINK
Strengths:
Weaknesses:
Highlights
Predictions:
LINK
Strengths:
quote:
Sims is a tall receiver at 6'3" and 199 pounds. He has good quickness when releasing off the line to immediately threaten defensive backs.
Sims displays good speed when running routes, but he doesn't run with his head down. The Louisiana native is not only athletic enough to avoid trash at the bottom of his routes, he also routinely looks for holes while attacking zone schemes.
He will fight his way through press-man coverage and can wiggle away from defenders when coming out of his breaks. Sims isn't timid in crowds, as he does a good job of leaping and attacking the ball with his hands. He appears to play with above-average concentration, and it's clear that he has confidence.
Sims has the athletic ability to twist his body when adjusting to various throws. Plus, he runs well after the catch.
Weaknesses:
quote:
It would be wise for Sims to spend some time in the weight room at Alabama. Adding strength and bulk will help his releases and route-running versus big and physical cornerbacks.
Speaking of route-running, Sims needs to get sharper and more crisp in this department. He should be helped by better coaching in college.
Finally, he'll definitely need to work on his blocking technique, since he's going to 'Bama. Things such as approach, punch, hand-placement and ability to sustain will need to be improved.
Highlights
quote:
This is a longer clip of Sims making plays versus secondaries in Louisiana. He seems to have a knack for winning battles for 50-50 balls, plus he has outstanding length in his frame.
He may have better hands than current Alabama receiver Robert Foster.
Predictions:
quote:
Sims likely will not start as a true freshman, nor will he make a big impact in 2014. His impact will come down the road, but he will make his presence felt.
He's a better prospect than former Alabama receiver Marvin Shinn. It wouldn't be surprising if he made an All-SEC team before he's done in Tuscaloosa.

According to the Ole Miss 247 guys and JC Shurburtt, he is going to be bumped up quite a bit in the final rankings.

Here's his profile: Sammie Epps

Epps was ballin in the AL/MS all star game.

Montel McBride made Bleacher Reports "2014 All Underrated Team."
quote:
For starters, 3-star offensive lineman Montel McBride is going to be a guard in college. Yet, he'll be categorized as a right tackle on this list for various purposes.
The Florida native isn't the most athletic blocker in the country, nor will he impress many people with his agility. However, the 6'4", 329-pounder has outstanding strength and power. McBride is lethal in a phone booth, as he can maul defenders as a run-blocker and sustain as a pass-protector.
Alabama will work him into shape before developing him into a solid guard in Tuscaloosa.

Yes, he was. He made Marlon look silly a couple times too.

I want this guy! Dominate in the game he played in on ESPN

Seems too small for a TE;should be a WR if he has the speed. Beating Marlon does require some athleticism. Auburn is after him now.

If his 6-3 210 is anywhere near accurate, would be a good size for H-Back in our system for a HS Sr. Listed size is very close to Smelley coming out of HS, actually a little taller.
