Did some brainstorming about the Safety position and here is what I came up with:

1. Turn up the heat on the Glenville trio. Tough pull I know

2. Advise Ronnie Clark to focus on running as opposed to lifting this spring

3. Talk to Vinnie about redshirting the upcoming season so he can play in '15 (joking...sort of)

Even if Briles did bolt for say... Texas, Hall would probably flip to A&M assuming he didnt stay on with Baylor. We really crapped the bed with him, IMO. Maybe I give it more credit than I should but he seemed ready to flip before the season... Then again CJ Hampton seemed ready to flip as well, LOL...

CJ said Freeze called him at 5:00 am this morning, he wanted to be the first to call him. CJ said he had the opportunity to play early at OM!!

WHAT DID HE THINK ABOUT OUR FICKIN DEPTH CHART?????? CRAP!

Wow! They probably guaranteed him to play, he would have to EARN it in T-Town!

Depth chart

I wish i could have seen the depth chart that he saw for us so maybe I wouldn't be so concerned about it. Tim Watts alluded to guys being shown exaggerated depth charts as a negative recruiting tactic.

WOW! Didn't know that! Yeah, you would think we would alert guys to that kinda stuff!

I wonder who are all on those exaggerated depth charts, Ron Woodson? Mark Barron? Haha?

I'm wondering if something like this happened with Hootie! I mean I know we tell guys they have to earn it and surely WE SHOW them the NEED for their position and role, but dang man, I frickin can't believe he actually said "the OM depth chart gives me the chance to play early" as opposed to our need for safety!

Probably guys like Jai Miller, HaHa, maybe throw in some random freshmen who were redshirted, etc.

Heck, if a kid is being redshirted they could probably be added to whatever position the opposing coach needs for his pitch. Wonder if Robert Foster became a safety in the OM pitch.

Speaking of Jai Miller, if he sticks around he may be in his thirties, but physically 18 and 19 year old kids will get destroyed by him.

Da'Shawn Hand 2015 starting "strong" safety.

Mike Farrell ?@rivalsmike 1h
Hearing that #Alabama has the edge now for 5-star Jalen Tabor with #Arizona right behind them. #Terps fading and #Gators longshot.

Tabor, Elam, Humphrey. Even if Hootie doesn't recommit, that'd be a strong finish.

Could Tabor play safety? Or would we keep him at CB?

Possibly. I like his range as a Corner, but needs to develop more. Saban is the guy to help him.
