I honestly don't get why these kids do this. I mean, I understand if someone commits in February and then decommits the following November or something. They've had months and months to reconsider their decision, listen to other pitches, etc. But I seriously doubt that Hootie learned anything new in the scant couple of weeks that have passed since his original commitment.

Maybe all the death threats and rancid corndogs hurled at his mother's car scared him more than they did the other two Monroe commits?

Is it too soon to post that LSU must have found an optometrist in Monroe?

I take full responsibility for Hootie's decommitment. I had his pic in my sig for awhile, so I must have jinxed it. To make up for it, I'll put Montel McBride's picture on my sig. Any other commits we are trying to process?

I thought LSU fans didn't want him Adams is better

But seriously, staff made the read on him apparently and expected it, so I'm not as worried as I was earlier today

Staff has a plan, CBs are who they seem to be focused on

This class will still be #1 so woe is me

Are they forgetting their going to lose almost all their safeties after 2014? Bama signed 4 CBs last year and no safeties.

I knew us taking a gamble on Conner and therefore whiffing on Vonn Bell would prove to be a mistake. And if we didn't have roster room for Bell, why the hell did we take four running backs? Feels like we should have taken more safeties last year.

When you can sign Humphrey, Tabor, AND Brown...you take it

Who knows what the plan is maybe they will switch some guys maybe they will find a stud EE for next yr I dunno

I still expect CJ Hampton to and with Bama and Ronnie Clark to sign and be a S

LB group is already great, Clark has range to play both consistently and could be a game changer at S, and same for Holcombe at LB

Why do you expect Hampton to Bama? Hand flipping to Michigan, though there is no talk of it whatsoever, would surprise me less than Hampton commiting to Bama.

The mistake was the fricking ginger QB when staff found out Del Rio was gonna walk-on

Staff was being told Connor was 100% Bama and had just found out they had a shot at Jackson when they told Bell to wait or whatever they told him and Connor flipped last minute

Staff liked Bell as a CB more but he screamed S to me despite size

The last 2 years there have been at least 1 instance where the 25 scholly limit bit the staff in the arse while every SEC team scrambles now every yr to find a way to work numbers

ETA: I HATE THE frickING RULE AND THE WHOLE NCAA NUMBERS LIMITS CONSIDERABLY ITS STUPID

Yeah I'm feeling Hampton is gonna stick with Ole Miss. I think Hootie will ultimately be here though.

The mistake was also recruiting Kamara. I really like the kid. Don't get me wrong. It just doesn't seem fair to him that, pending major injuries or position change, he may never see the field. We should have let UGA have him. They could have used him this year.

What? Lol Bama has done very good job recruiting Hampton and he even posted a tweet today about not being committed because he was tired of the OM fans on his twitter

Just take a deep breath man lol just because its been bad news of late doesn't mean Bama staff isn't burning the midnight oil trying to figure this shite out and devising a plan

I will wait and see what Hampton does on Fri

He is drumming up interest for his announcement because now everyone assumes he is staying with OM because of Hootie decommitting. That is all he is doing. Kind of like when Cam Rob tweeted that he "isn't close to a Bama lock" the week before he announced for Bama. He just wants more people to be interested so everyone isn't thinking "I already knew that."

You think he trolled Bama staff all this time...visited Bama more times every time he got a chance

I guess it could be the case but I hope it isn't

I am hoping he picks Bama

Yes. Nothing surprises me anymore. It wouldn't even surprise me to learn that he was recruiting Hootie to OM. That is how skeptical I am that he comes.

So, let's talk about guys we have a chance at: Who do you think we turn the heat up on now that our first option is all but gone?

Juju has to be contacted IMMEDIATELY and I don't give a shite about his extended Samoan family, he is an Eric Berry clone to me

CBs: Tony Brown obviously Tabor and MH
OL: Brian Wallace

As skeptical as you are about Hampton, I am super skeptical about Matt Elam still just too far wouldn't be surprised to still land him but also seems like a lot of UK momentum late

Actually glad we took Frazier now

Davion Hall
JuJu Smith
Holland Fisher
