I'd imagine the staff would like Fournette to take his official with the Cams and Ronnie Clark. Show him how he'll have some Louisiana boys as teammates for the next few years if he decides to come. Not to mention Hootie.

To be fair, he said he couldn't get a hotel room for all of his family. If he's catching a ride with someone then he doesn't need a room for himself. He can stay with someone else.

According to a source close to his recruitment, Elam has not yet made a decision internally and is truly torn within that projected top three. The source indicated that the academics at Notre Dame are a plus but could also be intimidating. The attraction to Kentucky according to the source is playing for his home-state program but there remains the possibility that he won’t have much to play for at the back of the SEC. Alabama is my pick because while the positives are extensive, I have yet to hear legitimate concerns from the Elam camp regarding the negatives. While opposing programs have offered up plenty of reasons why Alabama would be a bad fit for Elam, the five-star explains those concerns away readily.

Within the local community, Kentucky seems to be the common pick as to where Elam lands but of late even the locals have begun to recognize the growing threat of Alabama.
