President Trump absolutely will put qualified people of color in places of leadership He has the most people of color of any administration in recent history if not ever. He also has record numbers of women.

Never said that. I only responded to your comment supporting affirmative action. Anyone with common sense knows a person in a position of power(President here) will put not only pick the most qualified person but also someone that is going to support them as well from that position. And yes there are multiple people that are qualified but they also need to fit the second reason for selection. And just because you do not approve of who he picks does not make them unqualified.

Learn to read and maybe seek help for your anger issues.

Where did I mention Affirmative Action? I simply asked how many Black people were appointed. Not why didn't he keep a quota. Bush and Reagan had Black people/minorities in their cabinets and judicial appointments. Why not Trump?

What makes you believe this is an anger issue? Just because there's no palatable answer doesn't mean the questioning is from a place of anger.

I think that too. It’s been around 500-800 for several weeks now. Pretty stagnant

Another thing I wondered... all the so called experts are worried about flu+covid, but it seems that flu numbers would decrease with mask usage.

Unless you are symptomatic, masks do very little.

Well, states are starting to relax mask ordinances, people are indoors more in the fall and winter, and it’s still unknown how Covid and the flu may interact. Plus, get an aggresssive flu season with a lot of hospitalizations, with Covid still very active, it could quickly turn bad.

NC has not regarding mask and make them required for anyone age 5 and up. More things have opened but still limited capacity and alcohol shuts down at 11. Still seeing increases but the spike in August was mostly from college kids coming back to campus.

He was tested last Thursday or prior. Positive result came back Saturday. As of today he's still symptom free. Hope it stays that way.

He’s been hospitalized now due to fatigue. I hope they are just being cautious.

I think right now I know more people currently with it than at any point since it started. 7 people, 2 in the hospital. One was just taken off a vent.

Dang. Here's to a full recovery for all of them.

Just curious, what are their stances regarding masks? Do the think they work or are they anti-mask?
