Alabama Basketball Unlikely link to hit 70's TV Show CHIPS.

It all started after Alabama's win over Indiana State. "I didn't know nothing about the dude." said Estrada. The team manager just handed me the phone and it was him on the line. It was pretty cool. He kept telling me he used to be a big star and asked me about my NIL deal. It was cool though."




The caller on the line was none other than 76 year old Eric Estrada, 70's heart throb and start of the old hit TV show C.H.I.P.S.

"He just said he was my grandpa and that we had never met. I didn't even know I had a Grandpa. Ol Earl always said he was my grandpa".

But according to an unidentified spokesperson with the Screen Actors Guild, he is, infact, Aaron's grandfather. "Yea, that's his boy Javier's boy. Or at least, I think he is. He saw him on TV and wanted to reach out to him. It looks like he is going to have an amazing career.



"Coach Oats thought it was pretty cool. He keeps calling me 'Lill Ponch'."
