With Kira, we’re still the clear favorite. I’ve heard mixed things on Trendon, but it seems we still lead for him too.

I feel the exact opposite. Feel confident on Trendon, not as much so with Kira. I felt we were the heavy favorite with Trendon before he stated he'd be deciding soon, and that only boosts my confidence. If Watford doesn't choose Alabama, I don't see his decision coming until right before the early signing period at the earliest. With Kira you have to worry about him getting star-struck by these new big name schools coming after him.

I'm never confident about landing top prospects in basketball. I think we built an early lead for both guys, but we'll see if we can hold on.

Herbert will be fine. I watched him in the Al/Ms all star game. He did what he wanted when he wanted. Sometimes it takes a while for a guy to star on the SEC level. Maybe he just accepted a specific role on the team. He is unselfish. Maybe he didn't get enough touches to develop because there was a brightly burning star on the team.

they never really said what was wrong with Herbert's hand, did they? It was wrapped a good portion of the year, shooting hand too I believe.

and then he got that concussion, came back and had a few more collisions which didn't help.

What I'm saying is, don't worry about Herbert. I see big things for him.

It looks like Herbert Jones has hit another growth spurt. He looks taller than Daniel Giddens now.

He may have grown, but it's the camera angle making him look as tall as Giddens. He not only is a step closer than Giddens but the camera is slightly rotated which when cropped and straightened distorts sizes

For the first point, look at the shoulder width of Giddens vs Jones or Avery. Herb shoulders look 2x as wide which even Dwight Howard shoulder muscle doesn't explain.... Also Avery at a listed 5'11 is Up to Giddens' nose

For the second part, look at the lines of the floor board relative to the crop of the photo (top straight line frame of photo). That camera angle will make someone in the background appear even smaller

Yeah the camera angle definitely helps him look taller. But I still think he’s grown a little

Yeah I think he's at least 6'9 now. I remember talk when he came in that he might grow another inch or 2.

woah!

Not so fast. UConn and UK are in the thick of it..with UK being higher than UConn due to distance + UK is 1 of his dream schools.

Well yeah there’s other schools that could be a threat. But you don’t think we’re the clear favorite as of today?

Im sure KL is gonna be glad Kansas and Kentucky are interested...But he has family ties with Bama plus a strong relationship with the staff that was built long before the power programs even glanced at him. Relationships matter more now than the name on the jersey.

Saw his uncle is Ralph Sampson who played at UVA. Makes more sense now, especially since Key is said to be friends w Kyle Guy

Braxton was an inconsistent defender, but not by any means a bad one. I have no doubt he'd do a good job defensively for Tony Bennett.

His biggest issue is that his outside shot is just broken. If he improves that (I have my doubts about how much he can), he'll do well.

I'm almost positive that the article on Trendon meant that he was cutting his list soon. That's the decision that he's talking about making soon, not committing to a school.

Yeah you’re right. He’ll cut his list soon, not decide on the school

Got blown by every game I saw defensively albeit sometimes he may have been asked to guard a smaller man but slow feet nonetheless
