I'm a sucker for Belgium ales man. It's great and I've been saving it for the Stanley Cup. If you like gravity beers you'll enjoy it. I've never been one for ipa beers but that's I'm willing to drink it.

As long as we keep the LSU folks away I'd be happy with that. Everyone else is pretty smart and rational about basketball.

During the offseason, I'm cool with anyone posting. During the season, I don't anyone talking me off the ledge if we suck, and I don't want anyone trying to dampen a win.

I like trying all kinds of beer. I mostly drink bourbon or vodka though. I mix it for a little bit but by the third drink I'm tired of mixing so I start shooting

Jaykwon Walton is a priority:
Just thought I’d confirm this. I like what I’m hearing about this kid. Hope we sign him. I think he’d fit in very well with us.

Villanova is reportedly recruiting Walton now.

So it seems like right now we're trying to get a class of Watford, Kira, and Walton or Crowley. It'll be interesting to see if we try to go after a big as well. If we do, I think that'd indicate we expect Giddens to GT after this season.
Right now none of the bigs we've offered seem like guys we're likely to get.

If we can just keep our current group together and get the top in-state guys, we'd be looking at a roster of
PG- Butler (SO)/Kira (FR)
CG- Ingram (SR)/Walton (FR)
SG- Petty (JR)/Wood (SO)
SF- Mack (SR)/Herbert (JR)
PF- Watford (FR)/Reese (JR)
C- Giddens (SR)/Smith (JR)/Fleming (SO)

The Knicks are going after Jay Wright
Posted on 4/12/18 at 11:33 am to TomRollTideRitter
FWIW
Jay Wright
"I’m staying. I love it here. I love what we’re doing. I’m just really happy. I said when I was at Hofstra and I didn’t take other jobs, I used that old Jim Valvano line, Don’t mess with happy. That seemed appropriate at Hofstra until this job opened. It’s still really appropriate. I’m very happy here. I don’t need another challenge. I like happy better than a new challenge. The NBA does intrigue me. That challenge is appealing, but it’s not worth giving up working with these guys. The whole thing is, to take a new challenge you have to give up what you have. I don’t want to give up what I have. Would I like to coach in the NBA? Yes. But I have to give this up in order to do that, and I don’t see that happening."

Ya Why would Wright jump into that dumpster fire when he's got it made where he is? No chance he leaves.

I think he will give it a try eventually by the way he talks about it but I don't think its happening soon. He is 56 which is still fairly young for a head coach. He will have more and better opportunities down the road if he wants to make that jump.

I can see him being interested in an NBA job, but It'll have to be a situation like the one Donovan had in OKC. I don't see him going to a situation like the NYK, where he'd inherit a terrible roster and a dysfunctional front office/ ownership.
