Eh, it was only in game 1. Real talk, Wiley is the LSU FB of basketball players. Consistently overrated due to the high talent potential, not able to consistently put it together.
While some of his issues were being a 17YO HS kid playing CBB, there are some things I'm not sure are quick fixes
- Hands Passing: Wiley struggles to catch post entry passes. It's like he has bricks for hands sometimes
- Hands Shooting: Wiley RARELY gets And1's, he struggles holding onto the ball going up. Combined w/ above, I worry
- Free Throw Shooting: Easily fixable if you go Rick Barry, but he shot like garbage for team USA so I imagine another 50% year. Considering he doesn't get And1s, 1pt per trip isn't good
- Agility: Wiley isn't smooth nor elite footspeed. While his post technique/leverage is exceptional for his age, skilled quick defenders can trip him up
What Gene thinks as it relates to Bama: As long as you don't get one of his "on" games, he won't take over games against skilled post defenders

Three of the last four years, really. Ferguson (2016), Sexton (2017), and Watford (2019). It's always fun to beat out Kansas. They have some of the biggest bitch-boys for fans (on Twitter at least).
I don't really think they have any chance with Watford though. They're way too late to the party. I'd assume it's Alabama or Indiana.

Does Avery have any of his practices open for the media to watch? Just wondering if there's anywhere to get tidbits of info from hoops practices like we get daily from football.
And with regard to the Rocket City Classic, there are no good seats left!!!!!!!
