Who are you playing in Canada? As in what level of competition and should you clean sweep it?
McGill University, Carleton University and University of Ottawa
McGill went 24-11 last year, lost most of their exhibition games to US teams
Carleton won their 7th straight National Championship in the U-Sports division. They've won 13 of the last 15 national titles. Went 19-0 last season. They beat Wichita by 25, Stetson by 9, Arkansas-PB by 43 and Morgan State by 51 in exhibitions last year. That one will probably be worth watching.
Ottawa went 16-3 in the same league as Carleton

Carleton is the only one not being streamed though right?

Cecil just tweeted out we are having another open practice in September

Sweet. If they do well overseas, the hype will be unreal. Great marketing for the program.

Can we not get Cecil or somebody to live stream it to youtube? I mean come on, it's 2017. There's no reason someone shouldn't have this streaming from a camera somehow.

I agree. Or at the very least someone can Facebook live it.

I periscope'd an exhibition game for Auburn last year. It is super easy if someone is there

I'm guessing the biggest issue is the only folks there will be our staff as the beat writers will be in Tuscaloosa doing football stuff.
Somebody just needs to tell those Commie Canadians to stream the damn game.

In 13-14 Carleton beat the piss out of a future final four Wisconsin team, so we shouldn't get too caught up in the record we have up there. We could even have a game where the guys we expect to start are +20, but we lose because Avery tries out a lineup that we won't end up using in the season.

Avery gets a 2 year extension and pay bump AL.com

It's because we're so used to success with Football and Basketball is starting to have that 2008-type football excitement now.... we could be on the verge of something special.

They beat Wichita pretty good last year too.

They have some huge advantages that allow them to beat NCAA teams regularly
- Unlimited summer practice time for individuals
- Unlimited practice time during the season
- Coach also coaches the best Canada AAU / Youth team
- 5 Years of eligibility in Canada
- Canadian College is cheaper / more accessible
The takeaway from all that, Carleton's team is often filled with older "upperclassmen" who have played together for years and have unlimited access for coaching instruction + additional practice time
Compare to US teams
-US teams have ~10 limited summer practices before trip
-Teams often have kids inexperienced in current system
-As an exhibition game, most teams' priority is to improve not win. So giving more minutes to rotational guys, trying new lineups and other things
ETA: It is the extreme version of watching teams like Gonzaga or St Marys who win by experience and coaching, not typically talent

The 4-star SF has a visit set for Florida on Sept 15th. I've also been told Alabama and Georgia will get two of his other official visits. Which schools get the last two visits is up in the air right now. From what I saw and heard, the three schools that spent the most time watching him this summer were the ones mentioned above, and my guess is one of those schools ultimately signs him.
This is from Dan McDonald in reference to Khavon Moore.

Pett gets a bump up to $270K/year also. I need to get into coaching!
