I wouldn't say he's likable, but I also don't think he's really unlikable. I can name several coaches I dislike more than him.
I do feel like he should have more to show for all the talent he's brought through there. 4 or 5 Final 4's, one championship, and a runner up is still pretty damn good though.

He’s had several championship caliber teams and should probably have 1 or 2 more titles. His accomplishments at UK would outshine most team’s entire histories, but it could definitely be argued that he’s underperformed with the talent level maintained in Lexington. The NCAAT is about as tough of a championship test as a team can get at any level of sports though.
As far as likability goes, I guess it personal preference as much as anything. I’d still prefer him to Pitino, Boeheim, or K.

Tennessee/Ole Miss coming down to the end. This is what I love about College Basketball multiple games coming down to the wire at the same time that I’m flipping back and forth frantically
