For a bracket at work with a good prize, I almost picked Illinois to win it all. But I said frick that, and switched it to Bama. Glad I decided to wear those crimson colored glasses for March Madness.

They've completely bottled up Dosunmu. 4-10 for 9 points.
Illinois didn't really make any adjustments or do anything. But this was a harsh second round reward for being a #1 seed.

Those are all pretty good programs. I don’t know if this holds true for basketball, but in football if a kid gets offers from the top G5 programs, you can bet he’s being overlooked.
If I were a Georgia Tech level football program and saw a Florida kid with a UCF offer or a Louisiana kid with a an offer from The Louisiana University, I’d give them a look.

I get why Loyola wasn't a Top 5 seed - their resume really was pretty bare.
But damn an 8 seed was a travesty, both to them and to Illinois.
