One thing I would change about Oats system that I noticed last year and this year...is when a team has momentum against us instead of settling down and running a play we keep heaving up and missing 3s way too quick giving them even more momentum

I think if you really squint you can start to see some things to build on.
If Quinerly can be assertive and smart about getting to the rim.
If Bruner just stays healthy. He’s quickly becoming a must.
If Primo continues to improve.
If Ellis can play defense and maybe shoot a bit.
Etc.

Rojas’ confidence is insane and sort of admirable. That said, it’s not good for us. He weirdly reminds me of Beetle Bolden.

Don’t care. Either 1 shooting a 3 is the same as a turnover 8/10 times. Oats is trying to fit a square peg into a round hole with those two. They take up guard positions, take guard shots, and have the touch of a rapist. They should not be taking 3 point shots just because they’re open. They’re open for a reason. Work the shot clock and get a better shot when they get their hands on the basketball outside. That should be the plan.
