That is an insane stat. The team could improve that metric and nothing else and win almost every game. It’s that simple.

They turned it over one every THREE trips! It was similar to what you'd see at a 6-7 years old YMCA league basketball game.

And yet NO timeout until we were down 10 with 9 minutes left in the game. Absolute WORST coach in America on timeout usage.

Turnovers are more concerning IMO.

This!!! And the guards doing to much dribbling around the perimeter. Move the freaking ball to get an open shot!! 5 turnovers in the first 4 minutes is not a recipe for success.

We've been a shite FT shooting team for over 30 years.

Been longer than that Indiana went undefeated in 1976 undefeated and we lost by 5 and shot 50 % from the FT line

Did anybody catch the TV announcer mention that Oats had Grant Nelson shooting 100s of extra FTs after practice? It looks like everybody took the hint!

It appears to be paying off significantly less than reducing turnovers.

I bet Oats had a coach with him. Last season Nelson was a very good FT shooter late in games.

So far this season with his new shooting form, he's been a bit all over the place form wise when he's tired.

Whatever form he's using, he needs to keep it methodical, in line and repeated.
